Alice L. Gumbs On Tuesday, March 6, 2018, Alice L. Gumbs, daughter, niece, sister, aunt, friend, leader, and mentor, passed away suddenly at the age of 51 years. Alice was the eldest daughter of Clarence L. Gumbs, Jr. (deceased) and Ellery Gumbs. She is survived by her siblings Claire (Andre, Sr.), Collette, Dacyl, Dawn (David, Sr.) and Clarence (Rashida). She will forever be remembered by her nieces and nephews, Korsha (Cory), Danielle, Erica, David, Lauren, Alicia, Andre, Jr., Isaiah and Giovanni as a loving and supportive presence in their lives. She holds a dear place in the hearts of her close friends and an extended family of aunts and cousins. She worked for over thirty years at the DOJ-ATF and she was also a recent Masters graduate of the University of Phoenix. Visitation will be at the Trinity Moravian Church, 7011 Good Luck Rd. in New Carrolton, MD from 10:00am to 11:00am on Wednesday, March 14,2018. Services will begin at 11:00am. She will be laid to rest at the New Herrnhut Moravian Church Cemetery in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Memorial donations in memory of Alice may be made to Trinity Moravian Church, 7011 Good Luck Rd., New Carrolton, Md. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Alice L.
