Doris Marie Seymore-Liverpool

Doris Marie Seymore-Liverpool, was born on June 10, 1957 in Halifax County, South Boston, VA and peacefully departed this life on February 28, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Jackson and Abraham Seymore. Doris was educated in the DC Public School System, graduating from Eastern Senior High School, “The Pride of Capitol Hill”. She was certified in Business Administration from Smith Business School and was at the forefront of the groundbreaking computer and digital wave of the 1980’s. Due to her impeccable work ethic she became the ‘computer guru’, which motivated her to advance her career in the Information Technology field by becoming an IT analyst, and a Network Administrator. She retired from Hewlett Packard in March 2017. Doris had many hobbies, some included annual trips to Foxwood Casino in Connecticut with co-workers, traveling across the country, putting together 5,000 piece puzzles, watching movies and listening to music. She especially loved gospel music and oldies but goodies (every Friday night). Let us not forget she was a diehard Redskins fan. Doris’ faith in God began with her baptism at New Bethany Baptist Church, Washington, DC. Her precious memories will be cherished by her blended family, her husband Charles Liverpool; daughters Barbara Washington and Latasha Jacocks (Jerel); Goddaughter Jocelyn Braswell; step-children Terrell Liverpool and Erica Liverpool; four siblings, Linda Roberts, Aaron Roberts, Sr., Samuel Seymore, and Elizabeth Seymore; three grandchildren, Tareka Tyson (J’son), Aiesha Walston, and James Walston; two great-grandchildren, Maya (Lovebug) Walston, and Jamison (JET) Tyson; one uncle Clarence Roberts, and one aunt Ardell Martin; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to family, Doris enjoyed the love and support of many friends, most she met from childhood and others as an adult through church or work. May God bless one and all.
