Dorothy E. Pennoyer

Dorothy E. Pennoyer, 89, of Upper Marlboro, MD, passed on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at her residence. She was born in Little Rock, AR, the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Vogelman) Waer. She was the beloved wife of William F. Pennoyer. They celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary in June of 2017. Before retiring, Dorothy was employed as a secretary for the Woman's Bookbinder Union. She enjoyed reading, cooking, watching old movies, camping, spending time with her family, and spoiling her grandchildren. Along with her husband she is survived by a daughter; Patricia Gibbs, a son; William A. Pennoyer (Linda), four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and her grand-dog Shira.
