Frances Georgeana Windsor

Frances Georgeana Windsor, 93, of Capital Heights, MD, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 9, 2018, with her family by her side. Frances was born on January 9, 1925, to Nellie [Robertson] and William Windsor. She spent her whole life in Prince Georges County. Most of her life was working on a farm and also devoting her time to Prince Georges Public Schools, her church, and family. She loved to travel with her son Francis, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. No matter how many were around her table, there was always room for one more. She loved life and was devoted to her faith. She was known to say, “I’m 93 and I’m gonna do what I want to do.” And she usually did. Frances was the beloved wife of the late Earl Stanley Windsor, Sr. and the loving mother of Earl Stanley Windsor, Jr., Peggy Ann Davis, Frances Henry Windsor, the late George Windsor, Sr. and Alice Marie Windsor. She was the devoted grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 1 deceased, and 10 great-grandchildren. Family invites friends to Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Wednesday, February 14 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 14111 Oak Grove Road, Upper Marlboro, MD 20774 on Thursday, February 15 at 11 am. Interment will follow in St. Barnabas Cemetery.
