Amy L. Clay

September 10, 1977 — August 2, 2017

Our beloved Amy of Clinton, MD. has gone home to be with the Lord. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jonathan Clay and their two very much loved daughters, Nellia, age 6 and Chloe, age 4, her loving parents, Randy & Carol Puskarich, brother Lee Puskarich and his wife Kelly, grandmother Patricia Puskarich. Amy is predeceased by her grandfather, Michael Puskarich, and maternal grandparents, Russell & Nellie Herron. Amy was born September 10, 1977 in Bentleyville, PA. She graduated from California College in 2000 with a BS degree in Elementary Education. She then bravely, without knowing a soul set out to Prince George's County MD. to teach 3rd grade. It was here that she met the love of her life, Jay. On July 6, 2007 they were married under her special tree on the family farm. Shortly after Amy found her true calling as a mom when Nellia was born and later Chloe. Traditions and holidays were an important part of her family's life. Amy's home inside and out was always decorated for the holidays and season. She always brightened your day when you walked into her home. We will miss her cookies. Amy loved her family and friends. She pampered us with outings, presents and parties that were tailored made just for you. She knew you, she didn't look through you. Amy was a special individual with a big heart and large spirit. There wasn't an injustice that she didn't notice without asking , "Why does it have to be that way?" When there was an opportunity to help friends or strangers she was there to lend a helping hand. We only had a short time with you, too short but if anyone served their purpose here on earth, you did. You wore those Rose Colored Glasses that you refused to take off even when you were the only one wearing them. What a legacy to leave your girls; what life lesson to leave us all. Funeral Services will be held at The Greenlee Funeral Home located in Bentleyville, PA. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Amy L. Clay please visit our Sympathy Store.
