Babarinde Olaseni Awokere

"Babs" as he was called by everyone; was born in Baltimore City, MD to his loving parents: Dr. and Mrs. Abayomi Awokere. Our family relocated to Lagos, Nigeria in early 80s where he attended school [primary to high school]. He came back to Maryland in his teenage years, where he reside till his passing. As a pastime he enjoyed watching all sports; but especially Washington Football team and Washington Wizards Basketball Team. He also enjoyed vacationing in Myrtle Beach. Although he has travel to many places, going to vacation in Myrtle Beach was his Happiest Place. Babs always lived life to the fullest, and his friends that have became his family can attest to it. He is survived by his mother, Adetokunbo Awokere and sisters: Abisola Awokere and Yewande Awokere. He is precedent in death by his father, Dr. Abayomi Awokere and his sister, Kunbi Awokere. Babs is the most positive, fun person, kind and most generous person you will ever meet. Although we know he is in a better place we miss him dearly.
