Calvin J. McMillion

Calvin J. McMillion passed away on June 19, 2021 in LaPlata, MD. He was 97 years of age, one of seven children. He is the last of his immediate family. He was born in Renick, WV. Cal is survived by his wife, Barbara Eloise (nee Moore), her four children, many nieces, nephews and friends. As a young man, he served in the U.S. Navy in World War II; later graduated from West Virginia Tech, and was a retired high school teacher in the Prince George's County, MD public school system. Cal was a very social person and immensely enjoyed all of the organizations he was a member of: The American Legion, Eastern Star, Elks, Lions Club, Masonic organizations, VFW and many others. The family will receive guests at Lee Funeral Home, 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Road in Clinton, MD, on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, immediately followed by a funeral service at Lee Funeral Home.
