Dorothy Hill

Dorothy Marie Scott Hill, 101, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care. She was born in Welcome, MD but lived most of her life near Upper Marlboro, MD. Later in life, she moved to Columbus, MS and for the last 4 years, she lived in Scottsville, KY to be near her daughter. She was a retired employee of the Maryland School Board. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Robert Scott and Rosie Marie Pfeiffer Scott and wife of the late Fred Calvin Hill. She is survived by her children Margaret Smith (Ronald Conner)of Scottsville, KY and George Calvin Hill (Ide) of Mechanicsville, MD; one brother William Benjamin "Benny" Scott, of Suitland, MD; her grandson Brian Smith (Rebecca), of Ooltewah, TN; and great granddaughter Addison Smith.
