On January 3, 2019 Elizabeth “Betty” Thompson of Waldorf, Maryland was called home to the Lord. Elizabeth “Betty” Thompson was born on November 25, 1948 in Prince George’s County to the late Josep P Harley and Mary Helen Harley. Preceded in death by Dwayne Dockett her God son. She attended P.G. County Schools. The past 18 years she has worked at Lowe’s in Clinton, were she quickly became the cake lady. She loved gardening. Her roses were her pride and joy. Shopping was her past time and getting that good deal. Her team was the Redskins and would light the house up when they won. She loved to travel and finding new places to go and things to do. Her daughter would drive her where ever she wanted to go. Spoiling her granddaughters was the high light of her life. Can’t leave out her cooking and making cakes. You would never go hungry with her around. Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memory. Her husband of 49 years James H. Thompson, one daughter Dawn Tisha Day (Lionel Day), one son James P. Thompson. Three granddaughters Nicoletta “Nikki” Santiago (Wilfredo “Freddy” Santiago”), Trinity Day and Sadie Thompson, two grandsons Steave Dean and James Thompson. Two sisters Gloria Dockett (John Dockett) and Sharon Savoy, one brother Connie Harley and one special friend Helen Edwards. A host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and friends.
