Genena Mary Hood

Genena Mary Hood passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at the age of 89. She was the beloved wife of the late Arnold R. Hood. Loving mother of James Wildrick of Accokeek, MD, Teresa Lusby (Michael) of Waldorf, MD, Keith Hood (Teresa) of Waldorf MD, Kevin Hood (Deanna) of Lusby, MD. Sister of the late Raymond Lamanna, Carmen Lamanna, Mary Humphrey, Vernon Lamanna and Helen Toman. Genena was the devoted grandmother of eight grandchildren – Stacey Nichols, Melanie Potts, Tiffany Hood,Thomas Burmeister Jr, Christine Hood, Ashley Hood, Andrew Hood, Shaina Hood and thirteen great-grandchilden - Jade Wildrick, Ricky Nicols, Christian Nicols, Skylar Veirs, Ayden Austin, Landen Austin, Tommie Potts, Bailee Soule, Rylee Bieber, Trinity Goble, Carson Hood,Kennedi Goble and Ainsley Hood. Genena was an avid Washington Redskins and Capitals fan. She loved to play Yahtzee with her daughter & daughter in law and was a fanatic for BINGO and Slot Machines.
