Gordon Blaine Pracht

Gordon Blaine Pracht, 77, of Forestville, MD, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on August 1, 2021. Gordon Blaine was born April 16, 1944 in Washington, DC. He was a car enthusiast, an avid train collector and a devotee of rock and roll music; but he was most proud of his life's work as an optician. Mr. Pracht was preceded in death by his parents, Alfons R. Pracht & Ellen Garcia and his wife of 40 years, Rita M. Pracht. He is survived by his brother Kenny ( Rebecca) Pracht; his children, Alan John Pracht, Sr. (Angela Philpott), Carol (Dale) Carruth and Gordon (Cathy) Pracht; his grandchildren, Michelle McDonagh, Christine Hall, Tabitha Pracht, Dante' Barnes, Shaun Kirkpatrick, Soraya Pracht, Jessica Richards, Alan John Pracht, Jr. and Cordero Pracht and 13 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
