He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Crystal DeShong Metcalf-Curran, his sons Derek Todd (Joni) and Lawrence Michael Metcalf, sisters Sandra Hellmann, Valerie Curran Norris (Chip), Brother Lewis Colbert (Diana), sisters-in-law Beatrice Riley, Michelle Ferreira (Roger), brother-in-law Michael DeShong (Lori), grandchildren David, Tya, Maria, Derek, Daniel, Bridgette, Nikko, Kimari, Michael; great -grandchildren Aliyah, Antonio, Anthony, Anton, Anterio; mother -in-law Velma DeShong, mother Barbara Colbert, nieces Kristi, Kristin, Cali; nephews, Casey and Thomas. Predeceased by sister Michele Colbert, daughter Tya Rhonda, son Daniel Edward, father James Lawrence Curran, II, stepfather Lewis H.
