James W. Davis

August 17, 1953 — March 23, 2019

James William Davis (Tim) was born on August 17, 1953 to Mr. William Davis and the late Mary Agnes Davis in Dillon, South Carolina. Tim was raised in the Washington, DC area and later the family moved to Capital Heights, MD where he attended Central High School. After high school, Tim joined the Army National Guard where he received an honorable charged. Tim always had a story to tell. He kept people laughing with his jokes and jestering. Tim had a great sense of humor. He was funny in a good way. In 1981 he met Michelle Minnick and later they were married in 1983. He got his CDL license and went on the road driving tractor trailers and later school buses. In his last days, he surrendered his life to the Lord. On his hospital bed you can hear him calling on the name of Jesus and giving thanks to him. Tim is preceded in death by his daughter, Rondshay Davis. He leaves to love and cherish his memories: his wife Michelle Davis, and son Samuel Davis. Two grandchildren Keyara Davis and James (King). His father, William Davis, sisters Mary, Ann and Phyllis, brothers Kenny and Lee. A host of family, friends, nieces, nephews and cousins. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of James W.
