Jennie was born on August 20, 1919, to the late Joseph and Carmela Rizzo who were ministers in the Italian Church in Washington, DC. She enjoyed ministering by playing the piano for children's church services. After living in Washington the early part of their marriage, they built their home in Camp Springs, MD, living there for 60 years and raising their 4 children, Raymond Marescalco (Alida), Cynthia Deemer (Donald), Kenneth Marescalco (Nena), and Janice Catania (James). Jennie was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas in April 2001. She is survived by her 4 children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Daniel Rizzo.
