John Calvin Davis

John Davis was born in Taylors South Carolina on September 26, 1933, to Willie Davis and Mary Russell. By the age of 18, John joined the Army where he served our country proudly until his retirement in 1972. While serving in the Army for 20 years, John was decorated with medals and badges like the Korean Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and the Bronze Star Medal to name a few. John appreciated fast cars, boats, fishing, and racehorses. John is survived by his brother William Davis and sister Ruby Davis-Gibson and a host of nieces and nephews, family, and friends.
