Margaret Rosalie Kepich

June 17, 1929 — September 17, 2020

Margaret Rosalie Kepich, of Upper Marlboro, MD, passed on September 17, 2020 at the age of 91. Born in Ratibor, Germany, daughter of Mary Yanosch Pichulla and Ludwig Pichulla. Margaret met Andew Kepich while he was serving in the US Army at the end of WWII. Andy brought Margaret back to the United States with him after they married in Germany. They settled in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Andy continued his military career in the US Navy and US Army, receiving an honorable discharge. Margaret and Andy went on to have six children. She loved being a stay at home wife and mostly, mother. When the grandchildren came, she had new loves, but her children, though adults, were her babies. Andy passed in 2003 after 54 years of Marriage. Margaret understood the sorrows of losing someone loved. In addition to losing her beloved husband, she also experienced the immense loss of losing two children, a granddaughter and her twin sister. Each of them held a special spark of love. But the spirit within her could still enlighten your bad day. She was a beacon of hope for each of her children and the grandchildren whom she adored. Margaret had a passion in life for horses and at one time had up to four horses on her farm. Her keen knowledge of horses and generosity of love for them, would accompany her priceless smile when around her beloved animals. Margaret loved to sing and dance. She also enjoyed a few pulls on the slot machines at Chesapeake Beach. Beloved wife of the late Andrew Kepich; Devoted mother of the late Steven A.
