Monica E. Harley

Monica Estelle Harley was born October 07, 1933 in Washington, DC to the late Joseph Oscar and Mary Elizabeth Harley and was called home into eternity with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, August 1, 2020. Estelle married Joseph Osie Harley, Sr. on May 14, 1955. She leaves behind her husband of 65 years and five children to cherish her memory. Estelle was preceded in death by daughter Veronica Romaine Simmons; grandson Jarrett Andrew Proctor; and nine brothers: Joseph Alton, James Muriel, James Melvin, James Garland (Gil), Paul Ravenell, John Rudell (Moose), Francis Durell (Frank), Anthony Devon (Barney), and Charles Berylan. She also leaves: five children: Monica Joan Hodge, Joseph Osie Jr, Paul Ronald, Marie Doris Proctor, and William Larry; eight grandchildren: Charles William Proctor Jr, Tido Jermaine Proctor, Angela Nicola (Cola) Stone, Joseph Melvin (Joey) Hodge Jr, Robert Edward Aaron (Bobby) Harley, Justin Alan Harley, Paul Ronald (Ronnie) Harley Jr, and Christopher Antonio (Chris) Harley; a son-in-law: James Alton (Buddy) Proctor; three daughters-in-law: Joanna Lee, Cecilia Annette, and Martha Louise; nine great-grandchildren; Charlisse, Shanell & Tyron (Charles), Jermain & Portia (Tido), Jamar & Taylor (Cola), Julian (Joey), and Gianna (Ronnie) and three brothers; Thomas Gordon, William Curvey, and George Purnell; and many, many more nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
