Roland Lee Catterton Sr.

Roland Lee Catterton, Sr., of Lothian, MD, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019, at the age of 68. He was born in Washington, DC on November 13, 1950, to Ida Mae [Grierson] and James Herbert Catterton, Sr. Roland was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was the owner of Roland Catterton-Gradall Rental. He enjoyed anything that went fast…snowmobiles, boats, his Viper, Corvette and his own airplaine. He also enjoyed listening to Elvis, watching “Game of Thrones”, crabbing and traveling to Mexico with his wife to relax in their timeshare. He loved spending time with his family and “Charlie” his loving dog. Roland is survived by his wife Elizabeth, four children J. R. Catterton, Dwayne Catterton, Lynnette Melotti (Tony) and Aaron Catterton. He is the grandfather of Adam, Dylan, Casey and Riley; the brother of Betty, Lucille, Barbara, Julia, Linda, Mike and the late Doris and Buddy. He is also survived by his step-daughters Jessica Ladner, Dana Eyerly, step-grandson Dexter and numerous other family and friends. Friends are invited to Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736, on Thursday, March 28 from 6 pm until start of Funeral Services at 8 pm. Interment will be private.
