Ronald Rodgers

Ronald Victor Rodgers “Ron” peacefully passed away at his home in Clinton, MD on February 25, 2020. He was born April 25, 1954 in Leonardtown, MD to the late George Victor Rodgers and Frances Arnold. Ron’s passion was music. In the mid-1970s he formed the band Ashley. They performed at many clubs throughout the Washington DC metro area until Ron and his family moved to Ithaca, NY in 1997. He was employed by Unisys as a Computer Engineer from 1980-1997. In Ithaca, Ron was Mr. Mom to his two sons and many other neighborhood children. He returned to Clinton, MD in 2017. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his son, Nicolas V. Rodgers and his step- father, William J. Arnold. He is survived by his loving wife, Mechie Rodgers and his son Patrick F. Rodgers, his sisters Holly Roberts and Carol (Richard) Burgeson; and many nieces and nephews.
