Sherry L. Jarboe

Sherry L. Jarboe, 64, of Owings, MD passed on Wednesday November 14, 2018 in Washington, DC. Born in Cheverly, MD she was a daughter of the late Malcolm and Eleanor(Anderson) Chaney. She was the beloved wife of Daniel A. Jarboe for 20 years. Sherry grew up in Lothian, MD and graduated from Southern High School in Harwood, MD. She worked as an executive secretary for Commercial Real Estate Developers in Washington, DC. Sherry enjoyed decorating and changing the décor in the family home for all seasons, collecting and displaying Lenox and Hallmark Christmas Ornaments, and she also took great pride in collecting Nativity Scenes which were prominently displayed year round. Along with her husband, she is survived by a brother Mark W. Chaney(Carol) of Columbia, MD, nieces Kerry Starr(Kris) of Hockessin, DE and Kelly Kraft(Dave) of Brookville, MD, a nephew Kevin Chaney(Heather) of Arlington, VA, and five grand nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Monday November 26 at Lee Funeral Home-Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD for a visitation from 4-7pm followed by a funeral service at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be Tuesday November 27 at Southern Memorial Gardens, Dunkirk, MD. The procession will leave Lee Funeral Home-Calvert at 11:00am.
