Survivors include her partner/spouse of 39 years, Martin Lavery, her two children, Anthony (Tony) T Leyden of Baltimore, MD, and Christine (Tina) M. McGunigale of College Park, MD. Five grandchildren, Stephanie, Wayne, Patrick, Michelle and Kristy Lee. 6 great grandchildren, Caitlin, Madalin, Lucy, Sully, Nicky, and Peyton. She is also survived by her sister, Michele (Shelly) Riccardi-Lynn of Cave Creek, AZ. Born Suzanne Riccardi, she married young, had two amazing and strong-willed children before age 20, and was divorced by age 33. In 1978, she founded and was owner/operator of the very successful Famished Fanny’s deli and pizzeria in College Park for over 20 years. In 1980, she found the love of her life, and Marty and Suzanne were together 24/7 from that year forward. In 1993, Marty and Suzanne founded MSL International Inc., an educational company with a worldwide reach that promoted intelligent gambling. She authored 10 gambling books, and retired in 2017. She was as an outgoing, gregarious woman who effortlessly made friends with everybody, and her passions included cooking, dancing and traveling the world. Marty and Suzanne held seminars around the globe, from Australia to Monte Carlo to Italy, France and all over the U.S. Nothing was more important than her family, and we all came to affectionately call her 'Jr Honey.' We were all supremely blessed to have been a part of her amazing life. She will be greatly missed. Her remains were cremated, and a private celebration of life with her immediate family was held at her home on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019.
