Virginia Mae Lyons

Mrs. Virginia Mae McNair Lyons departed this life on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Bridgeport Hospital in Washington, D.C., at age 75. Virginia was born on April 20, 1944 to the late Marshall and Emily McNair in Marlboro, New York. While growing up she worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Saint Lukes Hospital in Newburgh, New York. Virginia became a Registered Nurse in 1985 and excelled in her career for 20 years. Virginia McNair and Donald Lyons have been together for 62 years, married for 51 years. Their union produced 5 children: Evangeline (Gregory) Graves, Donald (Lavinia Warrens) Lyons, Jr. (daughter in law: Merceda Lyons preceded her in death), Blair Joseph Lyons (preceded her in death), Veneree (Brian) Hall, Terrence (Sonya) Lyons, Sr. Virginia is survived by her loving husband, their remaining 4 children, 5 grandchildren: Gregory (Jerrod) Graves, Donaree Lyons, Terrence (Kenesha Tracy) Lyons, Jr, Alicia (DaJour Johnson) Lyons, Michael Joseph Hall, and 6 great grandchildren; from Donaree - Gebari, Geoni, and Gizelle.
