Miss Sonia Rose, 67 passed away peaceful surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 12:13pm in Maryland. Her kind heart and loving spirit lives on in her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Sonia was born in San Marcelino, Philippines on March 30, 1952. She came to the United States in 1973. Sonia was a loving mother and will be sadly missed by everyone that met her. She worked for the Department of Defense Commissary for over 20 years and never met a stranger. Sonia loved to cook for her family and friends and enjoyed trying her luck at the slots. She is survived by her loving children, Jon Rose and Geoffrey and Joyce Jacobs; her grandchildren, Jeremiah, Hailey and Jayden Rose and Emma and Andrew Jacobs; Her brother Efren and her sisters Vilma, Eliza, Gloria, Aurora Catubay and Zoraida DeLeon; The Father of her children, Mr. Joseph Rose and his wife Mrs. Regina Rose and her longtime companion, Mr. David Carter. She was proceeded by her parents Ambrocio and Jacobina Catubay, her sister Denes White and her grandson Thomas Jacobs A viewing will be held at Lee Funeral Home 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Road in Clinton, Maryland 20735 on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 11am – 2pm To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Zysonia Echague Catubay Rose please visit our Sympathy Store.
