Adelaide "Lee" Septoff

Adelaide “Lee” Septoff,  of Davie, FL, formerly of Olney, MD passed away on Sunday, July
24, 2022, at Glades West Rehabilitation Center in Miramar, FL.
Lee was the fun and loving Matriarch of our family, and nothing made her happier than
spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and other extended
family, far and wide. Each person who knew her truly felt that they had a special
relationship with her. She was adored by many and for all of us a light has gone out.
She and her husband, the late Simon Septoff, a marine veteran from World War II, raised
six children. Laurie Paniccia (d. 2018), Kathy Sajor, Robin Mosle, David Septoff, Steven
Septoff and Michael Septoff. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twelve great
grandchildren, her niece Janet Jordan, and Janet’s three children and twelve grandchildren.
Services in her honor will be held on 8/15 beginning at 10:00 am at Lee Funeral Home at
6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Rd, Clinton, MD 20735, followed by a burial service at Cheltenham
Veteran’s Cemetery, where Mom will be placed to rest with our father, Simon Septoff.
The family welcomes friends and family for a celebration luncheon in her honor, after the
funeral services, from 2:30 pm- 5:00pm at Congressional Country Club, 8500 River Rd,
Bethesda, MD 20817.
