It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Andrew Randolph Glasgow, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world suddenly on July 29, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on March 6, 1956, in Maryland, Andrew dedicated his life to sharing his love for nature through his work as a landscaper, leaving behind a legacy of beauty in the landscapes he tended for Grounds Management.
Andrew is survived by his devoted wife, Laura Glasgow (Thompson), along with his beloved daughters, Courtney Glasgow-Rinaldi and husband Jason, and Shaina Cullens and husband Matthew. He took immense joy in being a "Grandaddy" to his grandchildren: Dominick Rinaldi, Anna, Christopher, and Levi Cullens, filling their lives with laughter and love.
Andrew's family extends to his sister, Sandie Glasgow, and brother, Raymond (Butch) Glasgow Jr., and wife Andrea. He is also survived by a treasured group of nieces and nephews: Raymond Glasgow III and wife Katie, Adrienne Patterson and husband Brian, Kelly Jones and husband Bobby, and Tommy Rabak and wife Michele, along with many cousins, great-nieces, and nephews who were all touched by his warmth and kindness. Andrew was preceded in death by his cherished parents, Patricia and Raymond Glasgow Sr.
A devoted member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Andrew's faith was central to his life. He played guitar and sang in the choir, participated in the weekly Men's group, and cherished attending Mass and Adoration. He shared his love of music with his wife as part of Encore, a community choir. He found joy in golfing with friends and neighbors and loved spending weekends at the beach, embracing the beauty of nature around him.
Andrew's life will be celebrated with a Mass at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in North Beach, MD, on August 8, 2025, at 12:00 PM, preceded by a public viewing at the same location from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Interment will be private.
As we gather to honor Andrew's extraordinary spirit, we invite all who knew him to join us in remembering a man whose love for life, family, and God inspired all who crossed his path. In his memory, let us cherish the moments, embrace the joy of working together to create beauty in our world, and carry forward his legacy of love, laughter, and kindness.
