Archie Leonard Rainey

Archie Leonard Rainey, 87, of Suitland Maryland, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Dollie Mae, his daughter Kevin, siblings Stanley, Kenneth, Martin, Nancy and Geneva, and his two beloved dogs, Willie and Dollie.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Rainey, daughters Deborah Bowers (and her husband, John) Emma Rainey, and Rebecca Rainey, and his grandchildren Brian Hays (and his wife, Xandrea), John Bower (and his wife, Jordonna), Amanda Holmes (and her husband, Joshua), and Christopher Turner, and his siblings Walter Rainey, Betty Weeks, and Edna Brooks.

Born on September 9, 1938, Archie lived his life as a loving family member, charismatic friend, and dedicated worker. He was a valued and loved part of the Curtis Property Management family for over 60 plus years.

When Archie wasn't dedicating his time to his work or caring for his loved ones, he found joy in watching western movies and television shows, often on repeat. He was a true jack of all trades, generously sharing his construction knowledge and becoming a mentor to many.
