Betty Sylvester Beard

Betty S. Beard, 85, a resident of Clinton, MD for over 50 years, passed away on January 16, 2017 at the Hospice House of Charles County. Betty was born in Bradbury Heights, MD on July 16, 1931 to Helen Hupp Sylvester and Edwin Sylvester. Betty was the beloved wife of Armand “Slim” Beard for 57 years when his death occurred in 2014. Devoted mother of Nina Fillmann (Buddy) of Temple Hills, MD, Laura Simpkins (Wesley) of Mechanicsville, MD and Edwin Beard (Mary) of Mechanicsville, MD; loving grandmother of Joshua Adkins, Lucia Raley (Tyler), Lydia Beard, Samuel Beard and David Fillmann.
