BRENDA LEE TYSON

April 2, 1952 to November 23, 2025

Brenda Lee Tyson, 73, lost her battle with ovarian cancer on November 23, 2025 at Hospice of the Chesapeake located in Waldorf, Maryland.

Brenda was one of thirteen children to Marion & Everett Kreamer born on April 2, 1952 in Washington DC. She married Morris "Gene" Tyson on June 30, 1997. Brenda battled cancer for over two and half years. Even on hard days, her laughter filled every room and her courage inspired all who knew her. 

She is survived by her son, Robert Jenkins and his wife Marie Jenkins; Step-daughter Diana Tyson; Four grandchildren, Caroline Jenkins, Ashley Kneile, Whitney Kneile, and D'Angelo Ochoa; Nine great grandchildren Ashton Kneile, Camden Smith, Lanae Smith, Montie Johnson, Jr., Memphis Johnson, Monroe Kneile, Malia Kneile, Alani Ochoa, and Amir Ochoa; Five Siblings, Carol Underwood, Doris Schulze, Lena Hammonds, Butch Kreamer and his wife Carolyn Kreamer, and Wally Kreamer.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025  

11:00 am to 1:00pm

at Lee’s Funeral Home
