Charles Sylvester Gordon

Charles (Bill) Sylvester Gordon, 82 of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, was called home on Tuesday, March 8, 20222. He was at the comfort of his home. He was born November 24, 1938, in Washington, DC, to the late Robert Gordon and Margaree Gordon-Curtis.

Charles received his education from Prince George’s County Public School system. He was employed as farm worker by the late Hal Claggett early in life. He was also employed by the late Richard B Bland later in life.

He was most comfortable on the farm where he loved gardening and being around family. It was a simple life for simpler times.

He was preceded in death by his sisters Evelyn Brow, Bernice Gordon-Greenfield; two brothers, Mike (Vincent) Gordon and Melvin (Chunk) Gordon; and his very close friend Garfield (Sticks) Swann.
