Clifford Blake Lantz went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 8, 2024. Cliff was born to Everett and Margaret Lantz on February 19, 1942, in Washington DC. He graduated from Surrattsville High School in 1960. Following high school Cliff, enlisted in the United States Air Force being honorably discharged in 1965. While in the service Cliff met the love of his life, Nancy Kidwell, whom he was faithfully married to for 58 years. After his discharge, Cliff joined the Sheet Metal Local Union and began his 37 year career in the trade. He retired in 2003. Though Cliff was baptized at the age of 12, it wasn’t until his 30s that he rededicated his life to Jesus Christ. From that time on, Cliff was an active member of Camp Springs Community Church and was instrumental in leading his family to the Lord. Cliff will be remembered as a loving, dedicated husband, father and grandfather who lived with integrity and commitment to his Lord and Savior. His children and grandchildren describe him as patient, awesome, all-knowing, powerful, steadfast, selfless, kind and always ready to share what he learned about life. Cliff is affectionately called Pa, Dad, PaPa, and Boom Pa and leaves a loving family legacy which includes his wife Nancy, his two children: son, John and wife Dawnette, and daughter, Michelle. Five adoring grandchildren: Kyle Dyer, Kelly Dyer, Carter Lantz, Tyler Lantz and wife Avery, Shelby Lantz. His two sisters Gail Berry and Dale Lantz and Sister-In-Law, Marybeth Moore and husband Chris. A service to celebrate his life will be held at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery.
