David Daniel Stewart, 64, was called home on September 15, 2025. Dave was the type of person that could walk into a room and make you feel like you knew him. He was full of personality and could talk to anyone about anything.
Dave loved life and spending time with his family. He especially loved the family, and friends gatherings for holiday’s, summer cookouts, birthday parties, and just to be with them. Dave also enjoyed country rides on his Harley Davidson motorcycle and in his younger years bike week in Daytona. He also loved to playing golf on the weekends. Since retiring in 2024 he enjoyed playing golf more often, traveling, and attending his grandchildren’s sport events.
Dave’s career started at Harkins back in the late 70’s through the early 80’s. In the early 80s He left Harkins to pursue a new career with Space Design as a project manager building retail stores across the country. In 1994 he returned to Harkins and worked another 30 years. He was a great manager and mentor to many and respected by his peers.
Dave was a wonderful person who touched the lives of many throughout his life and will be missed by all who knew him.
Dave was predeceased by his mother, Flora L. Stewart and brother, William C. Stewart. Dave is survived by his partner of 31 years, Jo Carol, their children (yours mine and ours) son, Anthony Michael Logue, daughters, Tiffany Louise Stewart and Cori Ann Howard; grandchildren, Travis Dodson, Autmn Logue, Haylei and Saydei Howard; brother Robert A.
