Suitland

De’Andre M. Coleman, a bright soul who brought love and kindness to all who knew him, left this world
all too soon on Saturday August 19th, 2023, at the age of 28 years old. Born on October 30th, 1994,
De’Andre became a source of light in the lives of his family, friends and all those who were fortunate
enough to cross his path.
De’Andre’s heart was as warm as his smile, and his friendly and loving nature left an indelible
impression on everyone that he encountered. A beloved son who brought joy to his mother LaTonya
Coleman, his father Carlos Williams, and was welcomed into the loving embrace of his stepfather Brian
Easter. De’Andre shared a special bond with his brothers, Brian Jr. & Jhamari Easter, who were not just
family, but were inseparable as they navigated life's journey together.
As a child, despite the challenges he faced due to his diagnosis of Down Syndrome, De’Andre taught us
the true meaning of unconditional love, perseverance, and resilience. His infectious laughter, bright
smile, and loving spirit touched the hearts of everyone he knew. During De’Andre’s High School years,
he enjoyed participating in the Annual Special Olympics. Competing and winning medals was
something that he found very prideful. After graduating from Friendly High School in 2016, De’Andre
found purpose in his work as a bagger at the Giant in Largo MD, where his cheerful demeanor and kind
spirit brightened the days of both his colleagues and customers. He enjoyed playing his PlayStation,
taking selfies with family, Karaoke, eating out, watching his favorite football team (The Washington
Redskins/Commanders), going to the gym with his dad and never missing a beat to watch WWE Raw on
Monday Nights @8pm & WWE Smackdown on Friday nights @8pm. He always looked forward to
spending quality time with his dad going to the barbershop, going to the movies, shopping at the mall,
attending family functions and just hanging out. His interactions with others would also reflect his
genuine desire to make the world a better place through his acts of kindness.
De’Andre held a special place in his heart for his grandmother Patricia Greene (Mama Fox), who will
always hold onto the cherished memories, and treasured moments that they shared. However, it was
the amazing relationship he had with her that truly showcased his compassionate soul. Their
connection was nothing short of remarkable, resembling that of a mother and son. De'Andre looked
out for his grandmother ensuring her well-being and comfort at all times.
Although his time with us was tragically cut short, De’Andre’s memory will forever be a reminder of the
power of love, kindness and friendship. His legacy will forever live on in the hearts of his loved ones
and friends who will forever cherish the moments shared and the impact that he made on them.
De’Andre Coleman, a loving son, stepson, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, will be
deeply missed as we hold on to the memories of his infectious laughter, boundless affection and
the warmth and positivity that he brought to the lives of those around him. May he rest forever
in eternal peace.
