Deborah Joan Lott, 67, of Mechanicsville, Maryland, and proud United States Air Force Veteran passed peacefully with her Children by her side Friday, April 10, 2026. Debbie was born January 1, 1959, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, to Paul and Hildegarde Levasseur.
Debbie will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and the unmistakable spark that made her truly one of a kind.
She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Shannon Briggs, and grandchildren, Lexie Sweet and Colton “Cash” Briggs; her son, Eddie Lott, daughter-in-law Katherine Carney, and their children, Keith “Jax” Lott, Elena Lott, and Shaun “Luke” Lott. She is also survived by her mother, Hildy Levasseur; her sister, Maxine Zick, and nephew Tyler Zick; and her brother, Paul Levasseur and his wife Katrina, along with her niece Mallory Myers and nephew Andrew Levasseur. She was preceded in death by Keith Michael Lott.
Debbie found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments—road trips with her sister, traveling with her children and grandchildren, and collecting spoons from places she visited along the way. She was very proud of her German heritage and it enjoyed celebrating at Renaissance festivals, and Oktoberfest with family and friends. A true foodie at heart, she loved exploring new flavors just as much as she enjoyed unwinding with her favorite phone games. Her beloved dogs, Dingo and Jager, were constant companions and a source of comfort and happiness.
Those who knew her will always remember her for her contagious laugh, warm smile, and sharp sense of humor. She was independent, a little sassy, and always a good hoot—someone who loved a great joke and an even better belly laugh.
Her memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter she inspired, and the love she gave so freely to her family and friends.
