Deborah Underwood

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Deborah Jean Underwood, who left us on April 27, 2025, at the age of 69. Born in Washington, DC, on August 3, 1955, Deborah spent her life as a devoted homemaker in Clinton, Maryland, where she created a warm and loving home for her family.

Deborah was a vibrant spirit who found joy in the simple things-whether it was the thrill of a bowling game, the excitement of bingo, or the flashing lights of the slot machines. A lover of Christmas, she cherished the holiday season, bringing joy and warmth to everyone around her.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Underwood, her daughter Bobbie Jean Farrell (Patrick), and her son and Matthew Underwood. She was preceded in death by her son Robert Underwood. Deborah was also a proud grandmother to her grandchildren Mikayla, Brianna, and Mason, who will carry her love with them always. She will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held at the Lee Funeral Home Chapel on May 2, 2025, at 7:00 PM, following a public viewing from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Deborah will be remembered fondly in our hearts as we honor her life and spirit. Following the services, her remains will be cremated, allowing her memory to live on in the love she shared with all of us.
