Diane Lee Rison, a beloved sister, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on New Year’s Eve in Washington, D.C., Diane brought warmth, laughter, and a quiet strength to all who knew her.
The daughter of Howard and Anna Rison, Diane was raised with love and care in a home that valued family and togetherness. She was a proud graduate of Central High School, where she formed lasting friendships and nurtured a lifelong love of dancing. Whether swaying to the music at family gatherings or finding joy in a simple tune on the radio, Diane’s graceful spirit was always evident in the way she moved and lived.
Though she never married and had no children of her own, Diane was a cherished sister to Barbara Fresco and Patty Quagliarello. Her kind heart, gentle humor, and unwavering loyalty made her an irreplaceable part of their lives.
Diane will be remembered for her warm smile, her quiet resilience, and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures. She was a woman of quiet grace who left behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who were fortunate to know her.
