Dorothy J. Brooks

Dorothy J. Brooks 1933 - 2013 Dorothy J. Brooks, 80, of Montgomery Village, MD on Sunday Nevember 24, 2013. Born in Elkins, West Virginia she was a daughter of the late Bernard and Vivian (Tyer) White. She was married to the late Oliver R. Brooks, Jr. who passed in 2002. She worked as a cafeteria manager at the Princeton Elementary School in the PG County School system for over 20 years prior to retiring. She enjoyed bowling and was a die-hard Redskins fan. She also was a member of T.O.P.S. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly). She is survived by a daughter Anita Brooks (Ronald Richard) and a son Michael Brooks (Terase Brooks), six grandchildren, Oliver Raymond Brooks, Derek Matthew Richard, Sarah Terase Farr, Steven Joseph Brooks, Selena Farr, and Trinety Farr, and a great grandchild, Shayna Terase Farr. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the NIH Children's Inn, 7 West Dr., Bethesda, MD 20814. childrensinn.org To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Dorothy J.
