Eddie Lee Wilson

Eddie L Wilson, one of eleven children, was called home on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, after almost 94 years of a wonderful life.

Born in Fayette County, Tennessee, Eddie went on to serve in the United States Army, become an official in the Metropolitan Police Department of Washington DC and helped to lead Georgetown University’s Public Safety Department until his retirement.

During retirement, he enjoyed gardening, watching game shows, keeping up with current events and jogging at a local high school track.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife Ruth, daughter Angela (Thaddeus), son Darryl, granddaughters Shawntee’, Brenda and Denean, great grandsons Marcus and Arthur and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Clinton, 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Road, Clinton, MD 20735 on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 11:00 – 12:00pm where a Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.
