Edward Max Singer

Edward Max Singer, 99, of Alexandria, VA, died Thursday October 6, 2011 at his residence. Born in Cambridge, MD he was a son of the late Max and Elizabeth(Giese)Singer. Max was a U,S. Navy veteran of WWII and had retired from the United States Secret Service. He is survived by a son-in-law Steve Chertoff, two grandchildren Dana C. Deighton and Amy C. Lawson, and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Singer and a daughter Jean S.
