Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Courtney

Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Courtney of Owings, MD, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at the age of 86. Betty was born on June 15, 1929, in Washington, DC, to Mildred (Burch) and Maurice Cooksey. She was the beloved wife of the late Gilbert R. Courtney and a loving mother to Martin A. Courtney, Janice L. Courtney-Wilson and the late Beverly A. and Lance M. Courtney. Also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many other family and friends.
