Frederick Auten Faulkner

Apr 1, 1962 — Sep 23, 2026

Frederick Auten Faulkner was born on April 1,1962, in St.Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, to Doreen Renilda Fahie and the late Ivan Herbert Faulkner. As the firstborn of five children, Fred grew into a talented, kind, and admired young man whose athletic ability and strong character made him beloved throughout his community.

He attended Nisky Elementary, Nazareth Junior High, and Eudora Kean High School, where he developed a lifelong passion for music. In 1982, Fred moved to Maryland, completed Business Administration studies at Potomac Job Corps, and began his professional career on Capitol Hill with the late Congressman Ron de Lugo. He later continued his service at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) until his retirement in 2016.

Fred was a man of many gifts—martial artist, musician, DJ, cook, grill master, and skilled technician who could fix anything. He brought joy to countless gatherings through music, food, and fellowship. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, swimming at Coki Point, and living life fully. He shared his passion for sports as a coach for the Clinton Boys & Girls Club, he taught as a Motorcycle Instructor at Prince George’s Community College, and served as President of Straight Riders Motorcycle Club. A man of faith, Fred worshipped regularly at New Chapel Baptist Church, Temple Hills, MD and continued attending services via Zoom when his health declined.

Fred was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a man whose love for his family and the people around him was evident in all that he did. He leaves behind his loving wife of 33 years, Barbara Robinson Faulkner; his children, Brandon, Clyde (Hillah), Stephanie, and D’Ayr Faulkner; and his beloved grandchildren, Ameera Faulkner, Nevaeh Faulkner, SaCony Thompson, Camillah White, Hideo “CJ” White, Hylah White, Hanson White, and Callahan White. He will also be lovingly remembered by his siblings—Whitney Faulkner (Darlene), Arleen Faulkner-Shomoye (Abiodun), Shanda Caricciolo, and Kishma Faulkner; his in-laws, Ardy and Marie Robinson; brother-in-law, Marvin Miles; sister-in-law, Joan Winfield (Jeffery); and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, family members, and friends. Fred passed peacefully on September 23, 2026, surrounded by love. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched.
