Hazel Jean Mitchell of Ft. Washington, MD passed away on July 7, 2021 at the age of 84. She was born in Nyack, New York to the late James Tuck and Catherine Downey. Beloved wife of Sim Mitchell. Family will receive guests on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home, 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Road, Clinton, MD 20735. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Queens Chapel United Methodist Church, 7410 Old Muirkirk Road, Beltsville, MD 20705. The family of Hazel Mitchell requires that all visitors to the funeral home and church wear masks. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
