Some people leave footprints on your heart that can never be erased. Heather Faith Douglass was one of those people. At just 33 years of age, God called her and opened his arms. Heather passed away after a courageous four-month fight in the hospital. Through every challenge she faced, she met each day with quiet strength, incredible grace, and unwavering faith.
To know Heather was to know kindness. She was a beautiful gentle soul, a creative spirit, and a heart that always put others before herself. She found beauty in the little things, offered love without conditions, and made everyone around her feel seen, accepted, and deeply loved.
Above all else, Heather was a mother. Her daughters-Aspynn, Oakleigh, and Willow- were her greatest masterpiece and joy. Every dream she had and every ounce of love she possessed was poured into them. Though their time together was far too short, the love she gave them was everlasting.
Heather also shared a life with Daniel, raising their three beautiful girls together. Through every season of life, their love and commitment to their daughters never wavered.
Heather was preceded in death by her father, Sherman R. Douglass, and her beloved brother, Robert "Ryan" Douglass. She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Aspynn Grace Robertson, Oakleigh Rae Robertson, and Willow Hope Ryan Robertson; her fiancé, Daniel Robertson; her mother, Lisa Bryant; stepmother, Patricia Brown; her siblings, Aaron Douglass; Jordan Douglass; Joseph Bryant, Christine Haskell; Ashley Brown; Erin Kivett and countless cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews and a extended family. Family members and friends will ensure her memory lives on for her girls.
While our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that love like Heather's never truly leaves us. It lives on in every story shared, every smile remembered, and in the three beautiful little girls who were her greatest legacy. We ask for your continued prayers for her precious daughters as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
"The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
