Born on November 16, 1954, Henry was the cherished son of the late Jack West Parker Sr. and Lillie Mae Tyler Parker. From an early age, he carried a deep sense of integrity, curiosity, and compassion that would guide him throughout his life.
Henry pursued higher education with determination, completing two years of college, and later went on to build a meaningful and accomplished career with Raytheon Technologies. During his tenure, he earned the Raytheon Achievement Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions and also received the Central Imagery Tasking Office Certificate of Training-a testament to his dedication, expertise, and drive for excellence.
He shared a beautiful life with his devoted wife, Gladys Parker, whose love and companionship were a cornerstone of his happiness.
Henry is remembered with love by his many siblings: Alberta Parker, Lovie (Tommy) Banks, Yvonne Banks, Gail Parker, Debbie (Dale) Trunnell, Terri Ann Parker, Laura Mae Parker, Ira (Frances) Harrington, Bobbie Jean Moore, and Zira Tenisha Washington. He is preceded in death by his brother, Jack West Parker Jr. His bond with his family was deep, and he found joy and strength in their shared stories, laughter, and enduring connections.
Henry also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, each of whom carries a piece of his legacy in their hearts. His kind spirit, generous heart, and unwavering presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Though he has left this earthly life, the love Henry gave, the wisdom he shared, and the strength he modeled will live on in the many lives he touched. We celebrate his memory with gratitude, even as we grieve his passing.
Rest in peace, Henry Earl Parker. Your light will never fade.
