Hilton Aaron, born September 3, 1951, in Port of Spain, Trinidad, to Hetty and Hillan Aaron, passed away on April 8, 2026, in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. He spent his early years enjoying island life and later worked as a painter with the National Housing Authority. A lover of music, he played steel pan with the Renegades Steel Orchestra. Hilton shared 30 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Avella. He later moved to Brooklyn, New York, where they raised four children. He went on to serve faithfully for 37 years as a Home Health Aide with United Cerebral Palsy before retiring and relocating to Maryland. Known for his calm spirit and kind heart, Hilton was a devoted father, loyal friend, and generous man who enjoyed sports, music, dancing, and time with family. He is survived by his 4 children; his 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; his 3 siblings; his dear friends; and a host of extended family. He was predeceased by his parents, Hetty and Hillan Aaron; his brother, Stephen Awai; and his best friend, Selwin Cupid. Hilton will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
