Ira Glenn Pierce

Ira Glenn Pierce, 60, of Laurel, Maryland passed away on November 20, 2023. Ira was born on June 25, 1963, in Ft. Knox, Kentucky to the late William Pierce and Marjorie Cook Pierce. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Robb Pierce.
He received loving care and support from The Arc of Prince George’s County where he lived and attended the day program throughout his life. Ira enjoyed listening to Sesame Street and Wheel of Fortune while enjoying cookies and a coke. Ira leaves behind his loving aunts, Gail Heddinghaus, Jane Piatt, Patricia Clemente (Sam) and Myrtie Jo Bartel (Robert) as well as many cousins. He is preceded in death by his devoted grandparents, H.M. Cook and Rose Nell Cook, his aunt, Mamie Pfeifer, and his loving uncle Thomas Heddinghaus.

Service and interment are private.
