Irene Teresa McKelvin

Irene Teresa McKelvin (age 96) of Clinton, Maryland passed away on August 12, 2021. She was the eldest daughter of Oden and Lorrain Allen; born on April 13, 1925 in Washington, DC. She was the beloved wife of the late Eddie McKelvin, Jr.; whom passed away in February 2000. She was baptized Seventh Day Adventist. Her greatest passion was children. She was a nanny to families. Took care of everyone by helping siblings, cousins and grandchildren. She is survived by daughter, Lolita Jackson; siblings: Oden Allen, Jr., Kenneth Allen, Inece Ward, Marian Mills and Yvonne Wilkens; grandkids: Gary, Maurice, Reggie, Lorenzo Jeaneane and Stacy; 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Irene is preceded in death by her son, Reginald Jackson; siblings: Lorraine McKelvin and Florence Allen.
