James Eric Lewter

James Eric Lewter Jr., born on February 23, 1991, at Greater Southeast Hospital in Washington, D.C., peacefully departed this life on May 30, 2025.

 He was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, and friend whose life touched many.James was the proud son of Debora Lewter and the late James Lewter Sr. He leaves behind his cherished wife, Sandra Lewter; his children, Logan Lewter, Lucas Lewter, and Doy Downing; his brothers Jamar, Darry, Mike, Emanuel, and Whesu; and his sisters Monica, Fay, and Heather.

A graduate of Virginia University of Lynchburg, with his degree in Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 2015).James was committed to his career at TLS Management Group, where he was respected and appreciated by colleagues and clients alike. 

A celebration of James’s life will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2025. Viewing will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home, located at 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Road, Clinton, Maryland 20735.

James’s life was a testament to love, dedication, and resilience. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew him.
