James Alvin Rauch

Dr. James Rauch passed away suddenly at home on March 19, 2022.  

A native Marylander, Dr. Rauch attended Fredrick Sasscer High School, and Western Maryland College.  After graduating from the University of Maryland Dental School, he served 2 years as a captain in the Army Dental Corps at Fort Polk, LA.  Dr. Rauch then entered a general dentistry private practice.

Retiring to a farm in Upper Marlboro, MD, Dr Rauch was an avid farmer/gardener, and a talented self-taught artist, carving and painting decorative duck decoys.  

Dr. Rauch is survived by his wife, 3 sons, and 2 granddaughters.
