James "Skip" William Thomas Jr.

James William Thomas, Jr., 74, of Clinton, Maryland, passed peacefully with his family by his side, Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

James was born in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, August 29, 1949, to the late Edith and James Thomas Sr.

James was a master mechanic who enjoyed restoring old classic vehicles and racing and riding his Harley. He loved boating and fishing, especially with his family.

James was reunited in heaven with his sons James William Thomas and Wayne Edward Harder, his parents James Sr. and Edith, and his brother William Joseph Thomas. 

James is survived by his wife, Bessie and his sister Edith Beall, and survived by three daughters Lisa, Robin, and Shelly. He was the proud “Papal” to six grandchildren: Joseph, Kristina, Justin, Elizabeth, Branden, and Hailey, and a proud great grandfather to Zoey, Gannon, Liam, Xyriah, and Aaliyah, and will be missed by many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
