A Beautiful Life ended on March 7 th , 2026, When Lord Jesus Christ called Master Jerome Leedell Baxter. He was called from Earth to Heaven's reward from his residence at 7103 Tarquin Ave Camp Springs, Maryland to join the Savoir in that home that is free from sickness, sorrow, and pain. A native of Gaffney, South Carolina, he was son of the late Mr. Jason L. Roberts (Edna), and Mrs. Mary Ann Baxter-Nelson (Phillip), he was born on March 14th, 1971, at Cherokee Memorial Hospital in Gaffney, South Carolina.
He was converted at an early age and joined Shady Grove Baptist Church in Gaffney, South Carolina.
Jerome interest was sports he played baseball and football at an early age in Gaffney, SC. He moved to Maryland at the age of 8. He enrolled in the Jhoon Ree Martial Art Academy in Hyattsville, Maryland where he received his 1st Blackbelt degree.
He was a 1989 graduate of Potomac High School in Maryland. Master Baxter attended the College of Southern Maryland. He was the founder/owner of Triple Action Martial Arts/Baxter Karate Academy in 1989. He was employed at Star Buck in Washington, DC, various Charter Buses and private Limousine services and Topolino's Italian Cuisine in Maryland. Jerome became a member of The Tae Kwon Do Association in 1979, He was a 4th degree Black Belt and taught Martial Arts until 2010.
Left to cherish his loving memories are his wife Nicole Michele Samuels Baxter of the home, two step sisters: Phillicia Nelson of Laurel Maryland and Patriece Nelson Lee (Brain) of Hyattsville, Maryland and one step niece Sanyia and two step nephews Khalil of Laurel Maryland and Brice Lee of Hyattsville, Maryland three step brothers: Craig Anderson of Florence, South Caroline, Alon Jubril Molake of Maxwell AFB-Montgomery AL and Jason Ahmad Roberts of Temple Hills, Maryland, three Aunts Miss Jeanette A. Roberts, Miss Gloria J. Whitmire and Miss LaDonna Gregory-Tate all of Gaffney, South Carolina, one uncle Mr. Rickey Bernard Gregory(Christine) of Gaffney, South Carolina; one father in law Raymond Samuel and mother in law Wendy Bell Pennick (John) of Philadelphia, PA.
